Lind Reunion History |

Each year since 1950 there has been a reunion of the six branches of the Lind family. The first reunion was held on Sunday, August 27, 1950 at Fridhem Lutheran Church in Funk, Nebraska. Since that day, because of changes in our society, and changes in school calendars, the family has chosen to move the reunion to the first weekend in August. Every five years (such as '55, '60, '65, and so on) the reunion returns to South/Central Nebraska, to Phelps County, where the Lind roots are planted. Family members, even those who have never lived in Nebraska, make a special effort to attend those reunions. The table below is a list of reunion locations of the past half century and more. |
